Neutral Falls

We all need a place where we can go to escape from the chaos of our times.  Every battle weary soldier needs a furlough.  This painting was created for just that purpose.  May the white noise it produces give you a moment of rest and relaxation as you focus on the one true God who is greater than any of our troubles.  As you leave the battle zone behind, here are some scriptures to wash over you and excerpts from a praise song to ponder.  Let them neutralize and center you and cause praise to well up within you.  Sometimes it’s the praise that will drown out all the other noises and, who knows, may even help you gain the victory!

In the midst of a raging battle
There’s a place where you can go.
A place where noise is silenced and trouble stands still.
Listen…Can you hear it?
You have just entered the neutral zone
With nothing but the sound of many waters washing over you.

..........................................

“His voice was like the sound of many waters” (Revelation 1:15 NASB),
“Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10 NKJV).
“Praise the Lord, O my soul, all my inmost being, praise His holy name” (Psalm 103:1 NIV).
“For the Lord is good; His loving kindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations” (Psalm 100:5 NASB).
Remember “weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5 NKJV).

“Some midnight hour
If you should find
You’re in a prison in your mind
Reach out and praise
Defy those chains
And they will fall
In Jesus’ Name.
We bless Your Name
We bless Your Name
We give You honor, give You praise
You are the Life, the Truth, the Way
We bless Your Name
We bless Your Name”*
