“Arise, Shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.  For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.  The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising” (Isaiah 60:1-3 NKJV).

Arise, Shine

It is an amazing time to be alive.  Just as Isaiah prophesied deep darkness is covering the earth and deep darkness the people, but we know where there is light it dispels, even eliminates, the darkness.  Your light which has come is not just spiritual light which only those with spiritual eyes can see; it is a very real manifestation of God’s power in you, on you, and around you so those who are walking in darkness can find their way to Him through you.  He might use your voice, your instrument, your worship, your peace, your hands, your joy, your love, your faith, your testimony, your prayer, your life.  This painting is dedicated to all those who are willing to answer the call:  “Arise, Shine!”  May it inspire you as you inspire others to be radiant for Him.
