Thousands of seeds await the wind on this dent-de-lion which means tooth of a lion. They are waiting to be carried where they can be established and produce seeds of their own. They look and feel so delicate, even fragile. However, in the spring, we always witness the strength of their survival in great numbers. When we pray, we are like the dandelion—in its powerful perfection—sending forth the word, or tooth of a lion, that will accomplish its purpose.

“Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you”

(Mark 11:24 NASB).

“And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive” (Matthew 21:22 NASB).

Believe, when the seeds we sow in prayers, tears, and perseverance of faith show no signs of life. Rest assured, they are not forgotten, but purposefully buried in the winter season awaiting their spring when, with the Son’s love, they will come forth as answered prayers in full bloom. For that reason, please don’t be discouraged. Put your hope, your confident expectation, in the Lord. He will not disappoint. Remember,

“He has made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV).
